France Day 2: Paris

We had nothing planned today so we decided to just wander Paris and see what we could see. First stop: breakfast.

Then we went to Sacre Coure.

On the way up, the boys found a fountain that they thought was hilarious!

There was a pretty great view of the city from the top of the basillica. Unfortunately just as we came out it started pouring.

We ran through the rain to a random restaurant where Gabe discovered frog legs. They were not his favorite new food…

By then the rain had stopped, so we made our way to the Arc de Triumph.

Then we walked down the Champs Elysees. We stopped to let the boys play at a tiny park that was way below the boys developmentally, so I gave them tasks to make it more interesting, like doing the whole park while holding on to the other one’s ear, or jumping like a kangaroo.

We found the Eiffel Tower on the way.

And the Olympic Torch.

We stopped by the Bastille and took a break for a few minutes.

And then found an amazing pizza place that Rob recommended.

And the boys made it mostly through dinner…

The woke up enough for ice cream on the way back though…

And then they went to bed and crashed hard.
