We made it home, but here are a few more pictures of our last few days. There was lots of pool time, the Arizona Science Center, and snuggles all around.
Josy started ski lessons for the year! It was our first time up the mountain and, um, there’s very little snow so it was a good thing it was our first time… But we had fun. While Josy was at his lesson, Catherine and I got to go skiing together for the first time ever. Then after lunch Josy and I got to ski together for awhile. And this one is entirely too independent for his own good and decided that he can go up the chairlift all by himself…and then not wait for me at the bottom. He even went up with a friend! Meanwhile these two were in Seattle at an appointment, missing all of the fun!
Our next stop was Puy du Fou, which is a French theme park with a bunch of shows and exhibits about French history and culture. It was incredible. We did not get to see all of the shows due to time constraints, but what we did see was amazing. First, we had breakfast by the river. We went to a village from the middle ages. We saw a King Authur show (which did confuse me a bit as I thought that was British, but the translations were working for that sh...
Once again, I am behind in posting. In my defense, the last couple of weeks have been pretty crazy… Pat was out of town for work for most of a week. Then he came back sick. Then a few days later his parents started having some struggles, so he flew up to help and was gone for most of another week. Meanwhile Gram and Gramps were here, Bella turned 19, it’s Spring Break, the internet went out for a few days and Josy’s school caught on fire. So, um, never a dull moment? Meanwhile, here are some pictures of the last few weeks… Apparently Lucy likes sleeping in the snow gear. It was sunny, so we went to play in the woods. Someone needed to have the entire giraffe family listen to the story. Gabe made a fishing pole…and caught a catfish. St. Patrick’s Day dinner The last day of ski lessons, which was good because there has been very little snow. We had to make a Chicken Pot Pie for Pi day. Gabe sang at his school talent show. Every night I put the boys to bed in their own bed and when I wake...
