The Rest of the Trip...

We went to a Korean barbecue restaurant. The food was great, but the boys had some struggles when they lit the fire. It made Gabe nervous because he could feel it and Josy kept trying to blow it out.

Josy and I walked through the mall while Pat paid the bill and he was very excited to find balloons.

Perry was missing for 24 hours, so Gabe was very excited to find him behind the porch couch. Naturally he picked that moment to teach Perry to shoot the toy cowboy gun. Apparently he’s a good shot...

Pete had to go to the park with Gabe...

Snuggles with Gram.

Josy really liked going on a walk in the stroller and tried to convince everyone that he needed to go again. So he put on his shoes and crawled in the stroller all by himself.

What is Christmas without a sword fight??

Then it was time to head home. Huggie, Gabe’s new dog desperately wanted to stay in Phoenix. He actually ended up accidentally staying in Seattle. Oops...

Poor Gabe was worn out. I made him walk all the ay to the other side of the airport to get lunch and his backpack was terribly heavy (it was full of all of the toys he packed for the plane...). So I let him hang out on the floor while I ordered the food. He was also in his pirate costume and everyone in line with me thought he was adorable.

Sleeping was not on either boy’s list of things to do. Josy just wanted to talk to the lady behind him and throw her Timmy. At least she thought he was cute.

They finally both crashed on the second flight and I had a much more peaceful flight.

Poor Gabe just wanted to sleep so badly that somehow he got his shoe stuck on String. The shoe was just swinging back and forth.

Eventually we made it back and got our covid tests and now we’re sitting at home waiting out our 5 day quarantine.

It was a great trip and I’m so glad that we went, even with all of the awkward pandemic pieces...
