Day 3: Seville
We started out the day early in Barcelona. The bus were excited for their very first train trip.
We had an hour between trains, which should have been fine, however, our train ended up being an hour late into Madrid because there was another train stuck on the track, or something. As such, we missed out train. Since we were booked on two different trains, there was all sorts of drama, figuring out how to get to Seville. The boys handled it as well as could be expected.
We ended up having to buy a new set of tickets (which reminds me that I need to start the request to get that reimbursed…), but at least we made it on a train. It killed our whole plan for the day, but we made it.
One we got to Seville, we made our way to our Airbnb. As we got off the subway, the first thing I saw was the building where my school was at. The school itself moved, but that the building. The McDonalds is even still there.
Also, the built a subway right on the Main Street that we used to walk on. That was weird…
One we found our flat, we’re headed out to dinner, where it turns out that we broke Josy. We ended up finishing dinner. Then we put him in bed and he slept for 12 hours…
Also, we got donuts for breakfast. Donuts and kombucha. The breakfast of champions, right?

Also, we were at Atocha station, which was normal and expected, as it is the main train station in Madrid. However, it is also the station that was bombed while I was in Seville 19 years ago. Bring back at Atoche was hard.
The boys decided to snuggled on the train.
