Family Farm Day

Saturday was Family Farm Day (or as Gabe calls it “Busy Farm Day”). But before that, we had to put the kids to work. I mean, there was so much dust after all of the concrete dust...

We put them in charge of shaking out the coats. It actually went pretty well, even if Gabe only got one shaken out.

After that, we went to the farm. The first thing Gabe saw were all of the tractors and he was in love.

Next, we went to hold the baby chicks.

Then Gabe said “All done with baby chick. I want to ride that!” And he pointed to the other tractor. I looked over and no one was sitting on it. I think he was watching the entire time, waiting for the other kids to get off!

Then he found the bulldozer.

Naturally he played with all the nobs while yelling “Watch out!”

Then there were bunnies...

And more tractors!

Plus we got to the ponies and groom them.

We went inside the bar where they had a pumpkin patch set up.

It was a great day at the farm. It’s too bad that Pat had to miss it to work on floor stuff...
