Easter Fun

On Saturday we went to an Easter egg hunt!! This was definitely the biggest event that we’ve been to in a year and Josy was definitely a bit overwhelmed, but he did great. But it was definitely the most people he’s ever seen that he can remember..

The eggs were super hard to find...

It took Josy a bit to figure out that he needed to pick up the eggs. At one point he was even taking them out of his basket and putting them in the snow...

Gabe, on the other hand, was very excited. It’s a good thing that split the kids up by ages, since he definitely has to fight for his eggs more than Josy did...

Daddy let Josy eat a candy. Now that he’s decided that he loves candy, he was stealing pieces and trying to eat them when no one was looking. I have a Milky Way with a bite mark and he stuck an entire peanut butter cup, wrapper and all, in his mouth and then had to figure out how to not eat the paper...

A friend gave me her son’s collection of dinosaurs, so I decided that would make Easter more fun. There are a couple pieces of candy in there too.

Also, Perry was super excited about having all this grass around...

Yesterday we went to church (where we actually got to have coffee and snacks... outside in the back porch) and then made a lovely dinner of lamb and potatoes. I even made challah bread, which I have been banned from ever making again because it was so good, and Bella’s friend came over. It was a quiet day, but it was really nice.
